Misconduct Prevention Training Requirement for All Ministers

Deadline is December 31, 2025
This is your gentle reminder of the Presbytery’s policy requiring all
ministers involved in any level of ministry to complete the annual
misconduct prevention training utilizing the Praesidium training materials.
Those materials will be available beginning October 1, 2025.

links to the Praesidium training materials and the courses that need to be

The deadline to complete this years training is December 31, 2025.
Requests for alternative courses of training to satisfy the requirements of
the policy should be directed to the COM leadership team (EP, Stated
Clerk, Moderators of COM) well in advance of the December 31, 2025
deadline.

In-person Option
This year there will be an in-person option that is available and
specifically designed to support individuals who may find certain types of
online content emotionally or psychologically distressing or triggering. That
in-person training will be held on October 29, 2025 at the Terrace View
Presbyterian Church in Mountlake Terrace, Washington from 10 AM to
2:30 PM
. Space is limited to 25 and you must register online.

deadline for registration is October 24, 2025.
