“The farther the outward journey takes you, the deeper the inward must be.” Henri Nouwen

This will be a contemplative retreat, quieting, restoring and enriching our spiritual journey with Christ.

We will listen for the Presence of God in our Midst, expanding our relationship with nature, the earth and our bodies while practicing contemplative skills that allow us to hear God, each other and creation.

We will have times of prayer, singing, study, creating, and rest, and will seek to better understand the significance of contemplative practices in our ministry to family, church, community and the world.

Our relationship with Jesus the Christ calls us to be in the world compassionately and at the same time beckons us to go deeper into God’s presence.  Let this retreat strengthen our walk with the Divine and aid each of us in building the Kingdom of God.
